so, there's this company boat cruise on friday. we all get out of here at 11am and the cruise is from 12-3. right now, the weather is SHIT. i've rsvp'd just in case it was one of those things where, if you didn't go, you had to work, and, well, that's not the case. so now i'm wondering if i should go.
there are only a couple of people i like here, there is going to be a TON of food i can't/shouldn't eat, there are going to be people i don't like getting drunk and being even douchier and, right now, only 3 hours with these people on friday is sounding a lot more awesome than this cruise.
suggestions?

ReplyDeletei just applied for a job at the fred meyer. maybe i can get a discount on groceries. i wonder if they have grocer's unions here too. hm.
i went. and mainly because the underwriters were like "you HAVE to go" yesterday and i need to keep them on my side to keep my life there somewhat easy. so i went. it wasn't BAD, but it wasn't awesome either.
ReplyDeleteit was definitely better than spending the day at work. especially since the dragon lady opted to NOT come and was in the office while we weren't. :)
