now...

NE: Strawberry Haagen Daaz ice cream, individual size. These things are freaking brilliant. They are $1.50 each, and stupidly expensive per ounce, but it keeps me from eating a whole pint. Also, my new policy this weekend is if there is sadness, there is ice cream. We'll weigh in Monday.

i hate when i get this way

but i want this house:

http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/1930-Oliver-Ave_Memphis_TN_38104_1111075141

WHY DO I KEEP WANTING HOUSES?? or why can't i just win the lottery so i can be free and still buy all the houses i want??

c'mon universe, throw me a bone! give me money or give me a good, consistent fuck. either or, but i shouldn't be without both!!

office randomness

so, we have a new LO at our office that i process for and he emailed me and asked me if i had a photo that i could send him to put on his site. after laughing heartily for about 5 minutes, i replied "no, not really. there's a reason i'm in operations - i don't have to look pretty for anyone. :D sorry."
i was very tempted to send him this photo:

but i didn't.

update: i sent him that response back and he sent me his site. with fabio as my photo. i told him he should keep it or use the one i posted below. and i sent it to him. this dude is an idiot.

now...

...thankful. I'm very lucky to have a chick in my life than can help me accomplish gratification in many areas all at once by just rearranging some things around.

It's nice to just reach out and ask "What do you think about this?" instead of having to think about every angle and side by myself. So now that I have a balanced view and a plan, I can use that brain space for something else. Thanks.

now...

NE: EVERYTHING IN SIGHT.

seriously, my stomach is a bottomless pit today.

getting ready for work

i see these everyday, but today's the first day i remembered to bring my camera with me. i think you have photo's of this from our walks around town, so i just wanted to add another to your collection.

NW (now wondering): how could i have dated a drug dealer for a year, but not know where or how to find illegal narcotics?

hbo shows

Are you watching these? What in the wide world of orgy sports was going on in True Blood tonight, and I wish Hung were an hour show or moved faster, because it just isn't going anywhere for me and he's not even that hot. I wish they'd show his member if they were going to make all this drama about it.

p.s.

my tata's are sore and overflowing like nobody's business.

how is it that we're on the same cycle when we're so far apart??

nature's weird.

Speaking of hot mess.

How in the hell do you live in texas?! I'm SUPER HOT and SUPER PMS GIRL and together those equal SUPER BITCH. I'm thinking if I weren't slimey, gross and hating myself, then maybe I wouldn't be so hateful, but jesus, I just don't know how you make it through summer and not kill someone.

diy manicure

is a hot mess.

it looks like a spastic 5 year-old painted my fingers. this is why i pay others to do this for me.

just finished...

JF: hot yoga and cold shower.

NI (now intending): to go to la mexicana to have some nummy mexin food and HOTCHATA!

WBWTA (will be watching this afternoon): "box of moonlight" mmmm... sam rockwell. that may be the reason i might now come on for the rest of the day. *smile*

Now...

...putting away all my veggies from Farmer's Market.

Some Saturdays, I don't really even need anything or foresee a cooking week, but I just like to go and have a tostada and strawberry juice and listen to the standup bass and be a part of that community. Even the kids can be cute there, all hippie'd out. I really love my town. Being there makes me proud. Even the straws from the Mexican food place are tater-ware. Some days, it feels like my community is hugging me when I sit at those tables. I don't know how to cook 1/2 the stuff there, and I only ever leave with fruit and flowers, but wow, I think we're really lucky to have that there.

THIS:

is not what you want to see when you open up the mailbox.
yes, it's about the same size as those initial college acceptance letters that are so full of hope and promise, but this is the polar opposite of everything that means.

...Is it weird that I want to take this jump page picture, but with me, and naked?

Naked in front of neon, in that kind of light, all 70's grainy. It makes me hot.

interesting

The Hatchet Brothers cover the Grateful Dead, and Steve does too. Maybe I need to be more open minded.

cold roses and cherry lane. i couldn't choose between the two.

cold roses - obvious. and it's a pretty picture. and there's something about this imagery that i think he'd appreciate.

cherry lane - there's a line in the song that says "i want to be the one who walks you home tonight". i love it. i want it.

seriously considering

going from mac back to pc. the decision is mainly fiscal considering i don't do anything media-related that the mac would better a pc at and because my darling penelope is on her last legs and, well, i really just don't think i'm cool enough for one. and dell will give me credit - apple will not.

so, my question is: we all know there are "mac geniuses" that will help you transfer all your pc stuff to your mac-alicious new confuser, but is there anything or anyone out there that can take all my crap off my mac and put it on a pc?

ps - hobby lobby is seriously more dangerous for me than michaels is. proof this weekend.

pps - i would like to conquer my bike this weekend.

ppps - i did this last one solely to overuse the post-script.

Photo Challenge #1 - Ryan.

We play games. I said...take pictures that make you think of Ryan Adams one week.

This was mine:

Heartbreaker.

Heartbreaker.
Seen on the side of Toadal Fitness 2/24/09. Minutes before on my drive to the gym, I was listening to Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams, thinking about how I will be seeing Ryan in a week, how I can't wait to hear Heartbreaker on Pixy's record player...and then here is this record player...that wasn't there Sunday!

It could grant your wish.

My boyfriend just signed up to train for a triathlon for the next 4 months. I have a feeling I'm going to have quite a few early mornings. Though not 4am ones, so I guess here the time difference isn't helpful.

now...

NW (now wishing): this blaghversation could wake me up at 6am every morning to make me go swimming. it should know that it's good for me and, therefore, good for it.

thinking...

the best way to describe this would be a scrapbook of the things we send each other anyway that makes up think of one another or something equally as weird.

and i already miss the pink guy from my last visit. the cruz just isn't the same without him.

So...

I'm really excited about this place. I like that Pixy is a couple hours ahead of me. I usually email her at night before I go to bed, and wake up to email from her, and we email a lot during the day too. Now everyone can join in the random conversations we have.

We had this guy....

Pink guy amuses the tourists even on Thanksgiving.

But now he isn't pink or dirty anymore...and walks faster. Man, the crazy people around here are less and less creative!

yeah, well...

this guy lives in my town...

ha!

Now...

laughing. Ha. That would be so awesome. What a unique idea! I bet you would totally clean up. You could make mixes. Steve could make a special album.

In other news - this guy lives in my town:
