because i am REALLY looking forward to making one of my loan officers scream today. absolutely nothing has gone as she has wished on this file and i just got some stuff in that's gonna make it a whole lot worse.
i've known from the beginning that it wasn't going to go well mainly because it feels like the borrower is forcing the whole thing... buying a house, closing too soon, etc. i mean, she's a full time student with 4 kids and only makes child support and alimony income. i dunno, i'm just giddy about frustrating the heck out of her because she is a cooter.

ticket

that speeding ticket i got on 5 on my way to SD? it's gonna cost me $321 to clear it if i do traffic school, not inclusive of the traffic school fee!! that's outrageous!
the ticket is $225, there's a $25 "proof of correction" fee, a $10 "cite and release" fee and a $61 "administration" fee?! the state of california is freakin' killing me!

so

we've taken over the whole floor of the building i work in, making a big loop around the elevators wherein the loan officers get offices with windows while we admin staff are relegated to the dark, dismal middle. all of the new offices are near me.

a few of the new offices have loan officers already in them and one of them plays soft jazz. ALL. DAY. LONG. i'm going to have to start playing the string metal loud enough to drown it out or i'm going to go postal.

I'm thinking of taking a hand job class at the end of the month. It's only $15 at the local sex shop. I think it's got to be hilarious, and maybe I can learn something new to break the routine. In my head, I can see you rolling your eyes. ;)

sometimes... JUST sometimes, i look at the alimony that some of these people that i'm processing loans for get and really think about getting married. $50,000 - $60,000/year just to get divorced from someone?!

i've never even MADE that much money on my own in a year.

for all the energy and vim and vinegar that i had this weekend and yesterday and everything, i'm freakin' EXHAUSTED now. i went to bed at 10 last night and started waking up at 3am and was in and out of sleep after that.
i know i'm going to start bleeding today or tomorrow, but i usually sleep like a ROCK just before and during that. something feels off and weird and i don't think cookies are helping. :p

I hate PTSD. Someone broke into our office the night before last. I had a really hard time yesterday. In my head, I know it's not related and silly to be scared. My body disagrees. I had to leave yesterday. I'm home today, because I had a panic attack when I tried to go in. Awesome. It's raining like an inch an hour, so I'm not sad I have to be on my couch, just sad my body is betraying me. Bitch.

research paper

so, i'm doing my research paper on charter schools and charter school funding in oregon and nationally and it's actually kind of interesting (surprisingly). it's also a little sad.
my goal is to get 15 pages written up tonight. and typed up tomorrow. and mailed off for review on monday. because i don't want to go to the last 3 classes. you think i can do it? i hope i can. :)
