iphone question for you

since the verizon phone is coming out, i wanted to see what your thoughts on that were versus the att phone.
if you were to go on an international trip right now with your att service, what would you have to do for functionality in european countries? i heard that with verizon and the cdma bit, it's a little easier for you to get cards or switch things up, right?

i ask your opinion because it seems that the only thing people complain about with att service on the iphone is the dropped calls. i don't really make a lot of phone calls to be honest and, with probably a good part of att customers moving to verizon for that specific reason, i would imagine that the dropped calls issue would be lessened dramatically since there won't be such a drain on the network resources, right?

the only thing i don't like is that att doesn't offer an unlimited data plan for the iphone. and the lowest phone rate plan that i can sign up for is 450 minutes and it's $40! crazy pants!
